SPF goals: Sisley Sunleÿa G.E. Age minimizing global sun care SPF 50+

At this point, daily SPF has largely become a standard part of everyone’s routine, whether they are a beauty and skincare afficionado, or work in the industry or connected areas. But just knowing that you’re supposed to apply SPF daily doesn’t mean it’s an easy job to find one you actually enjoy using…

Well, I am here to tell you that you can’t go wrong in that department with the Sunleÿa G.E. Age minimizing global sun care SPF 50+ from Sisley. You’ll probably have a shock once you see the price listed for this item. But hear me out…

This product doesn’t really even feel like SPF, but rather more like a moisturizer – and a very enjoyable, great quality one at that, that feels like it’s actually caring for & improving your skin on top of ‘just’ protecting it from the sun. After wearing this, by the time I remove all my makeup etc, I do feel like my skin looks smoother, brighter and calmer than it would otherwise.

You can see above that the texture is light, which is unsurprising from Sisley, who typically have great formulations – some of the most elegant I’ve ever come across, in fact. This is key when you consider that SPF needs to be something you look forward to applying, because if it’s a chore, you’ll just stop using it soon enough.

It also layers beautifully under makeup. It leaves an almost imperceptible level of tack on the skin, but it is not actually sticky or heavy-feeling. You forget it’s there. It will also leave no white cast as this is a chemical rather than mineral SPF, offering broad spectrum protection of PA++++ and an SPF over 50. The finish is luminous and your skin is left looking (and feeling) hydrated once you rub this in – yet never greasy:

Overall… stellar product as far as I am concerned. I am not surprised this won the Best City Sunblock award in Harper’s Bazaar last year! I can’t actually think of anything I dislike about it – other than the huge price tag. But if you are in the market for a treat and this fits within your budget, then it is definitely a high-quality product that I don’t think you’ll regret buying!
